Stash

One budget, several currencies

Multi-currency budgeting

Stash supports people who earn, hold or spend money in different currencies while still needing one understandable personal budget.

Preserve the original transaction currency

A transaction should retain the currency in which it occurred. This makes the ledger auditable and avoids silently treating unlike amounts as equivalent.

Use a home currency for planning

A home currency provides a common view for budgets and totals. Stash supports manual exchange rates and an optional online rate refresh. Online refresh is consent-based and requests public rate data without sending transaction amounts or merchant details.

Treat converted amounts as estimates

Budget conversions can differ from card-network, bank or cash-exchange rates and may change over time. Stash uses them for planning, not settlement, accounting or trading.
