A few good questions.

Do I need to connect my bank account?

No. Stash uses supported notifications from banking apps you select, optional Gmail transaction emails or manual entry. It never asks for your bank password.

How does automatic recognition work?

Stash uses transaction details from the notifications and emails you choose to import. Recognition depends on the message format, language and delivery. You can review and correct imports or add expenses manually. See the notification setup guide.

Is Gmail required?

No. You can use notification import and manual entry without Gmail. If you connect it, access is optional and read-only. Read the full Gmail disclosure.

Is Stash available on iPhone or the web?

Stash is currently an Android app. This website explains the product; it does not store or display your financial ledger.

Is Stash free?

Stash is free to download and offers in-app purchases. Check the Google Play listing and the app for current feature availability and local prices.
